CIP Test Revision

I've been busy studying for my CIP Test, as well as the other common tests due after the study break. I realised how much I have to catch up, as I havn't been revising as regularly as the previous semester.

I am taking a particularly long time to memorise the part on "Library Information Skills". The various classifications on the different types of search engines and functions really confused me. Must perservere.

Progress on my Website

Arrrrgh, I almost couldnt figure out the different layers in my web design. I consulted books and friends on how to settle the problems. Finally, after a crash-course on HTML from the internet, I figured out how to make them work.

After weeks of grueling brainstorming, I've finally completed my website. I've exceptionally happy with the final product, as it is something that I enjoyed doing. If I have the chance, I would post my website. =)

My First Website

I started doing my assignment on my first website. It was really much more difficult than i imagined. Initially, I had very grand plans for my website, but I realised that due to time and knowledge constraints, I couldn't put them into action.

I decided to settle on something less complex, but still something which would put to use the stuff I've learnt. Hope I can complete it on time.

Flash and Presentation of PBL1

We start to learn about the basics of Macromedia Flash. I finally understand those creative designs on websites, which always seemed unfathomable.

Dr Tan started by teaching us about how to animate a "ball", making it bounce and other simple actions. As the lesson progressed, the more creative ones started to work on their new designs. I too, attempted to do an animation of rain.

We also presented our PBL 1 this week. I was quite satisfied with our presentation, as everyone of our group members really did our best to gather the most realistic information, as though we Really were going to start a new business. Cheers!
